Stats Monitor

Stats Monitor makes it easier for journalists to track and use new data from Eurostat on topics such as migration or economic growth. The tool: 

• uses charts to display numerical data – you can easily adapt them to your needs
• analyses new data to spot trends and outliers, helping you unearth newsworthy material
• lets you view the latest charts and newsfeeds at any time.

Timeliness is one of the tool’s strengths: to take advantage of it, simply subscribe to the Stats Monitor RSS feeds. You can also:

• opt to receive news leads by email
• sort the charts by time interval, country and other variables
• switch from one chart type to another as well as change the colour
• download the datasets in different formats.

What’s more, charts are automatically translated into 10 languages.

Stats Monitor is powered by the news service Newsworthy and developed by Journalism++ and LocalFocus.

The tool is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and Croatian.
