Just launched: The data.europa.eu collaboration channel

Connect with fellow data providers and reusers through different conversations and topics

We are proud to introduce the collaboration channel on data.europa.eu! The collaboration channel is a dedicated space for connecting and engaging with data providers and data reusers. This forum offers meaningful discussions, facilitates knowledge exchange among peers, and promotes innovation and reuse of open data.

By joining the collaboration channel, you will have the opportunity to join and follow ongoing discussions and exchange ideas and experiences with peers, private sector representatives, and other data enthusiasts. You can also propose your own topics and conversations on subjects related to open data. Additionally, you can connect, collaborate and grow within the open data community network. Within each topic, related content from our platform is connected so you can easily grow your knowledge on the open data topics.

Within the collaboration channel, there are two active communities. The data providers community is a restricted group dedicated to data providers from the public sector who publish their data on data.europa.eu. If you are an official representative from the public sector in Europe, you can request access and exchange with other public sector representatives on implementation of data policies, among other topics.  The second, the data reusers community, is a group open to all collaboration channel users connecting data providers and data reusers. Here, users can connect on topics such as the data.europa academy and use cases, to get inspired on how other members have applied open data.

Create your profile on our platform today to join existing communities and start the conversation on how we can use and improve open data. Contact the community managers if you have any questions and we hope to see you there!
