The webinar will take place online on Friday 1 March from 10.00 to 11.00 CET.
In recent years, the demand side of open data has gained importance. Data providers no longer publish their data solely based on organisational objectives or policy imperatives, but take more and more into account what data the end user wants and needs. Increasing attention is being given to data re-use in the public sector. At the same time, the reuse of open data in Europe is still in its infancy and requires further research and implementation efforts to fully express its potential for public and private value creation. The webinar will explore how information generated by the public sector and released in an open data format may purposely be re-used by private and public entities.
