In this workshop, organised by the BDTI Skills Studio, participants will learn to forecast bicycle traffic in Paris using historical data and compare the predictions with real-time data. This practical use case will demonstrate the entire process, from analysing historical data to generating forecasts and visualising both forecasted and real-time data.
Additionally, participants will learn how to set up an automated pipeline to continuously update and visualise real-time data, providing valuable insights for urban planning and promoting sustainable transportation.
What you’ll get from this workshop:
- A solid understanding of predictive modelling using real-world data
- Hands-on experience with data tools like R, MINIO, and MongoDB
- Practical insights into setting up automated data pipelines
- Guidance on visualising data and interpreting results
- Resources and tools to continue learning and applying data analysis techniques
